When we have a new horse available for sale we will do a mailing to our EARLY RELEASE Mailing List members and post a photo on our Bits & Bytes Farm Facebook page. Be sure to sign up so that you do not miss out. Many of our horses have been sold as soon as the mailing goes out. We are very selective of the horses we list.

We assist sellers (of Thoroughbred race horses for sale) to find buyers who have the ability to transition these horses to new careers. The Secret of Our Success

You do not have to have a huge budget to purchase a wonderful competitive Thoroughbred. The secret of getting a good horse is knowing his background and knowing that he has had good care. We have partners who work at the track. They are always watching for good horses who are sound for a second career. We only work with people we know and trust to tell us the truth about the horses we place. A vet check confirms that the horse is as represented. Never buy from someone who does not want you to vet the horse!

These Thoroughbreds are priced between $1500 and $5000 with most being in the $2500 to $3500 range. We can help you find a Thoroughbred that matches your goals and budget. We do not do this for a living. These horses are not costing us money to feed. There is no advantage in us selling you a horse that is not as represented because we will always help any horse, we sold,  find a new home if that becomes necessary – for FREE. Our mission is to help caring owners find good homes and second careers for their Thoroughbreds when they are done racing… and find good people safe, sane and sound Thoroughbreds for a reasonable price.
